The Mazda Competition "E-production" widebody kit that we used on the Track Dog race car looks fantastic and generated a lot of interest. Unfortunately, it was expensive, fit poorly and was too thin to stand up to daily use. There were a lot of disappointed people - but AWR has solved the problem. Their widebody kit fits nicely, is made of thick hand-laid fibreglass and is affordable. It adds approximately 1.5" to each front fender and 2" to each rear. What tire sizes can you run? Well, that depends on offset. But if you're looking to cover a set of Goodyear race slicks like we used on the Track Dog, this will do the trick. Includes four fender flares and four bumper extensions. The flares and extensions must be bonded to the stock body professionally. Available for the Racing Beat Type 2 body kit as well - please contact us for details. Because the stock fenders are left in place, this kit is legal for SM2 competition and has also been used in E-Production. Fits 1990-97 Miatas. A 1999-05 version is in development. Unpainted. |
